This past month, SportInspired joined forces with long-term partner UBS to give hundreds of children and young people the opportunity to thrive and have fun through sport.

Over 550 primary school children were in attendance from four local schools including Sebright, Lauriston School, Hoxton Gardens, Princess May, Debeauvoir, Halley House and Randall Cremer.

The children were led by over 200 UBS volunteers and 30 secondary school students from The Bridge Academy who took on the role of 'Young Leaders' helping the children to stay motivated and have fun.

Over the course of two Sports Festivals in May, hundreds of children were able to experience playing volleyball, boccia, taekwondo, wheelchair basketball, dance, and rugby.

Sport Festivals are delivered to emphasise fun and encourage kids to try new sports while working together in teams. SportInspired is currently offering these programmes across the UK all summer and look forward to bringing our ‘Science of Fun’ philosophy to schools and children near you!
