We are looking for sports clubs across the UK who are interested in partnering with us to encourage children to join their local sports club and to create new sustainable sports clubs in local schools.

Over the last ten years SportInspired have partnered with lot of sports including parkour, gymnastics, wheelchair basketball, rugby, karate and fencing to name a few.

What our Programmes Involve

A SportInspired Games project is designed to be fun and enable hundreds of 7 to 11 year olds to discover or rediscover 6-8 locally available sports.  Each Active Learning Programme is split into two sections:

Multi-Sport Festival

Pupils will take part in a high-excitement, mixed sex, mixed ability, multi-sport festival where they sample six different sports available locally. Everything is set up to help all kids have maximum fun, and to generate the best team spirit possible (rather than the usual focus on performance) throughout. The ultimate aim is for every pupil to be inspired to find a sport they enjoy and want to do again, available locally, so they are able to take it up.

Legacy Sports Clubs

To convert the inspiration from the festival into action, the schools involved each engage one local sports club from the festival to deliver 6 weeks of 1-hour coaching sessions in their school. This will be either during curriculum time, at lunchtime, before school, or after school.

The aim of this programme is:

  • To inspire pupils to join your local sports club (or others in the community), helping non-sporty kids to enjoy being active, and already active kids to be more active, and
  • To create a well-attended, successful new sports club in the school, which should hopefully continue to be supported by schools after our initial 6 weeks funding
